About Pointe Counseling Services, LLC

Pointe Counseling Services is an insurance and risk management counseling firm established to serve the property and casualty related needs of its clients. 1984 marked the founding of this organization whose sole activity is in the counseling field. John L. Konechne, CPCU, ARM organized and formed Pointe Counseling Services originally to serve the public school community. As a consultant, Mr. Konechne has worked in many areas including work as an expert witness, but specializes in Public Entities to include public educational institutions. For more than twenty years, Pointe Counseling Services has been providing services throughout the state of Michigan and nationally. Our services have evolved and been offered to almost any type of business organization. We have been members of the Michigan Association of Property & Liability Insurance Counselors for this entire period of time.

The discipline involved in Pointe's work, risk management, has evolved over the last twenty years. Pointe Counseling Services' adaptation, interpretation and specialty focusing of this process has created uniqueness in our approach to risk management. Our experience and adaptability has allowed us to achieve superior results in risk management, including risk financing, on behalf of our clients.

Pointe Counseling Services keeps current in all phases of risk management through membership in various professional and trade organizations including the International Risk Management Institute. Key team members, "Pointe's Professionals", are required to possess the distinguished Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation and be licensed as Insurance Counselors in the state of Michigan.

Pointe Counseling Services are somewhat selective in the clients whom they represent and the number of clients they serve. This approach assures the highest quality work associated with the maximum attention to each client's needs, saving clients millions of dollars in premiums in our history while maintaining superlative risk management and insurance programs.
